In recent years,electric propulsion ship equipment for its efficient operation economy,cabin layout compact and flexible,promoting power,ship handling significant characteristics and good comfort,not only a large and growing share of the large ships and special ships,but also in the luxury cruise ship,car and passenger ferry,shuttle tankers and offshore passenger the ship is fully demonstrated its wide application prospect.Because has many obvious advantages of electric propulsion,it has become the main direction of ship power development in twenty-first Century.Energy management system(Power Management System,hereinafter referred to as PMS)is one of the key control system of electric propulsion ship,the main power supply system and power unit control and energy management and other functions,for electric propulsion system and dynamic positioning system and other electric equipment to provide reliable electric energy,stability.When ships use electric energy as the power source,keep the power grid frequency stability is very important,the frequency fluctuation not only will cause harm to the power equipment itself,it is more important to meet the marine electric equipment for power quality requirements cannot,affect the safe operation of ships and for electric power system,so how to design a suitable algorithm to reduce the fluctuation frequency in energy management system stability is the key.This paper improves on the previous frequency and voltage modulation algorithm,and get a more stable the frequency control algorithm.Then a more in-depth exploration and Research on energy management system,introduces the structure of energy management system and the main function,and the energy management system is how to adjust the power of peace to draw the flow chart of main function.Then introduced the existing virtual difference control algorithm,and based on this algorithm put forward their optimization algorithms.Finally introduced the RTLAB software,and the improved algorithm are placed on the model operation,the experimental results compared with previous algorithms and their algorithm,the experimental results prove the feasibility of the proposed algorithm.This study focused on the ship power system,using the improved algorithm for control of the ship power system in energy management system,improve the stability of ship operation,ship and crew safety have played an important role,and through the numerical simulation and physical experiment was tested,in order to improve credibility.
