270V high voltage DC power supply system due to the advantages of light weight and high efficiency, is the development trend of modern aircraft power supply. ASI as the secondary power supply of the aircraft, is responsible for the 270 V DC transform into 115V/ 400 Hz AC for the use of airborne equipment, and it is an important part of aircraft power system. In this paper, a two-stage ASI pre-stage DC / DC converter for the study, since the post-stage three phase four-leg inverter applied to SAI, so need to choose the appropriate pre-stage DC topology. Based on Boost three-level converter's advantages of small power voltage stress?small the ripple of output voltage and input current, help to improve the power density and energy conversion efficiency of the ASI, so this paper uses Boost three-level converter as a former stage topology, which is the focus of research.First this paper introduces the basic principle of Boost three-level converter, analyses the different switch mode converter under the working condition and the main wave, and determines the phase shift control strategy. Voltage relationship between input and output is deduced using the average of the state-space concept to establish transfer function between a duty cycle of the converter and output voltage. Combined with theoretical analysis based on the technical requirements of the project, the switchs, diodes, inductor and capacitors of Boost three-level converter elected and designed. Original loop transfer function characteristics of converter are analyzed, to complete the design of voltage stabilizing loop controller and voltage grading loop controller. The paper also details the design parameters of the main circuit and some other auxiliary circuits. Besides, it analyzes calculated the loss of the converter, including switches, diodes, inductors, to obtain loss distribution and efficiency of the converter, and to further increase the efficiency and power density of pre-stage provides a train of thought.Finally Matlab to build a simulation model Boost three-level converter, the simulationresearchs on the converter working condition and results demonstrate the feasibility of the converter design. Developed two 270V/360 V 6kVA principle prototype and experimental verification, the experimental results obtained meet the technical requirements, proved to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis and system design.
