The innovation and development of the precast monolithic shear wall structure system is the core of the modern construction industry. The basic assembly unit of the precast concrete shear wall structure system is the precast hollow slab with both-way holes inside(hereinafter, the hollow slab),with the simple assembly technology and good seismic performance in this paper. The type of horizontal connection and vertical connection between different assembly units is simple and reliable, which can meet the seismic requirements. The focused research is the mechanical performance of the precast concrete shear wall with the vertical joint under the different shear span ratios and the affect of connection performance of the vertical joint between different assembly units under the shear span ratios. The main content and conclusions are as follows:(1)To study the failure process and failure form,quasi-static tests were carried out for one reinforced concrete shear wall and four precast concrete shear walls with the vertical joint under the different shear span ratio. The test result showed that:the failure process and failure form are different between the reinforced concrete shear wall and the precast concrete shear wall. The vertical macro-cracks appeared along the direction of vertical distribution steel bars inside the hollow slab, which avoided the brittle shear failure.(2)To study the mechanical performance of the precast concrete shear wall and the connection performance of the vertical joint, parameters such as hysteretic curve, bearing capacity, ductility,stiffness,energy-dissipating capacity, and the relative deformation of concrete between the vertical joint were analyzed. The test result showed that:the shear span ratio is the important factor which affected the mechanical performance of the precast concrete shear wall, the peak load capacity of the precast walls reduced, but the deformability of that improved with the shear span ratio increased. The vertical joint could ensure effectively the connection between the different assembly units, which that theconstruct is reasonable, and could used in the engineering practice.(3)The finite element model of the precast concrete shear wall is established by the ABAQUS,the model was proved reasonable sufficiently by the failure process, the skeleton curve and the bearing capacity, which could provide the theoretical basis and technical support for the next research.
