The influence on seismic performance of steel plate and concrete beams in the different thickness of the steel plate were tested under the quasi static cyclic loading test and calculated by a nonlinear finite element software simulation.Firstly, the development process of the beams was discussed in detail.Secondly, three beam specimens were made in the load test process. The specimens of steel plate thickness is 8mm, 10 mm and 12 mm respectively, and then wrote a detailed experimental study, introduced from the template production, forming steel, reinforcement binding and concrete pouring in the process of the whole production process. The failure process of the specimen was carried out, and the bearing capacity, deformation and energy dissipation capacity of the specimens were analyzed by means of the degradation of bearing capacity, hysteretic curve and skeleton curve. The longitudinal reinforcement strain diagram specimen beams and normal section strain diagram shows the specimen basically meet the plane section assumption. The internal force of steel plate was calculated, and the change of the self resistance moment and shear force of steel plate in the process of loading was analyzed. ADINA software was used for finite element simulation of coupling beams. In the modeling process produced three steel-concrete composite beams which have three kinds of plate thickness of 8mm, 10 mm and12mm, then joined the various material parameters and boundary conditions were set.The load application was set for cyclic loading and test specimens were divided the mesh of the specimens. Finally, the ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the test specimens is analyzed by the simulation of the cumulative plastic strain, the axial strain and the hysteretic curve of the specimen, which is the part of the post-processing. The results of the combined loading test and the finite element simulation are concluded.
