Micro polluted raw water has become a common problem in urban water supply, conventional water treatment technology could not meet the requirements of people on drinking water quality. Combined ultrafiltration(UF) process could effectively improve and guarantee the safety of drinking water. However, the poor effect in dissolved organic matter removal and the membrane pollution problem during the long-term operation had been a technical problem to be solved in the application of UF.The device for dynamic and static ultrafiltration were used to treat the micro polluted raw water from Yellow River Reservoir, pollutant removal characteristics of the conventional powder ac tivated carbon(PAC)and silver loaded on powder activated carbon(SPAC)were compared, had researched organic matter content, type and membrane fouling controlof the PAC and SPAC, comparative study o f different pre treatment process of large-scale water of Yellow River reservoir water pollutant characteristics and effect of pollutant removal and membrane fouling control characteristics.The results indicated that compared with the PAC, the SPAC for the removal effect of DOC and UV254 had significantly improved. The DOC and UV254 removal was enhanced with the increase of SPAC silver content, but the removal of UV254 and DOC of unit mass PAC loaded with silver was reduced. The SPAC could remove the ultraviolet humic substances effectively. SPAC was more favorable to the adsorption of organic compounds under acidic conditions; Membrane fouling could be better controlled by SPAC, and membrane flux recovery was better received after finishing backwashing, and membrane pollution index increased slowly.Dynamic test results of PAC and SPAC indicated that the UF had good control effect on the turbidity. Casting the SPAC and the regular PAC respectively befor the UF process, the SPAC was conducive to the removal of DOC, the average removal rate of DOC increased to 49.22% and 45.79% respectively, the average removal rate of UV254 increased to 52.30% and 52.70%. The SPAC/UF and PAC/UF processes could remove ammonia nitrogen and nitrogen, the removal rate were 95% and 91% respectively. the SPAC could improve removal efficiency of DOC, and removal rate were increased by 6.98 and 7.08 compared with the PAC; small molecular weight organic matter removal rate were increased by 10.08 and 7.07 percent, hydrophilic and hydrophobic material removal rate were increased by 6.75 and 6.04 percent; fulvic acid and protein like substances had been effectively removed; membrane fouling are more effectively controlled.
