A100(Aer Met100) ultra high strength steel is researched according to the U.S navy F/A 18 E/F type fighter aircraft landing gear materials demand by Carpenter company in the 1980 s. With the development of aerospace enterprise, A100 is widely used in main bearing structure of aircraft like landing gear. However, due to the landing gear demanding service environment, as its materials A100 must have more wearresisting and corrosion resistance. Therefore, this article will use semiconductor laser modification processing was carried out on the A100 surface.In this paper, laser fused and laser cladding of A100 steel use the DISTA-3000 type semiconductor laser, laser cladding using the Ni-1#, Ni-2#, Fe-3# three kinds of alloy powder. On the basis of a large number of process experiments, select suitable laser processing parameters on the surface modification of A100 surface can get a very good macroscopic layer. Scanning electronic microscope(SEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) are used to analysis tissue morphology and phase of the surface layer, Electrochemical workstation is used to analysis corrosion resistance of the surface layer, High temperature and high speed friction and wear testing machine is used to analysis wear resistance of the surface layer, Microhardness tester is used to analysis hardness of the surface layer. The results showed that:Two kinds of laser surface modification methods can obtain good macroscopic state, organization even, without air hole, crack defects such as high performance surface, 3 kinds of laser cladding alloy coating of the Ni-1#, Ni-2#, Fe-3# are in a good metallurgical bonding with substrate. After laser fused A100 steel did not produce phase change, still mainly consists of martensite(M) and austenite(A). Within the scope of a certain power, laser fused layer corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and microhardness were enhanced with the increase of laser power.Laser cladding Ni-1# alloy coating is mainly contains Cr23C6, Cr7C3 and Ni2 Si phase; Ni-2# alloy coating consists of Fe Ni3, Cr15.58Fe7.42C6 and BNi3 phase; Fe-3# alloy coating is mainly contains Ni Cr Fe, Cr and CFe15.1 phase. Under the same experimental conditions, three kinds of coating corrosion potential were higher than A100 steel, corrosion current density were lower than A100 steel; The wear weightlessness and grinding crack depth below the A100 steel. Among three kinds of alloy coating, microhardness high and low order as: Ni-1# > Fe-2# > Ni-3#; Wear-resisting corrosion resistant ability strong or weak order as: Ni-1# > Ni-2# > Fe-3#. Ni-1# alloy coating has the most optimal wear-resisting and corrosion resistance among three kinds of alloy coating.
