The snowfall,uncleared in timely,will forme a kind of recompacted ice-snow with a certain thickness,hardness contained dust and other impurities inside and firmly bonded to pavement after repeatedly compacted by pedestrians and vehicles in the time with freezing-thaw.The road,covered by recompacted ice-snow,with smooth surface,low friction coefficient and more easily to create traffic problems,which will cause more inconvenience to the safety of pedestrians and vehicles, and seriously affect people's daily life and production.In this paper, the formation process of recompacted ice-snow was analyzed.The stressstrain process of the recompacted ice-snow under the action of external force were analyzed by the compacted test,which provided a reference basis for the research of the mechanism of recompacted ice-snow clearing by rotary cutting.The rotary recompacted ice-snow failure criterion was established based on Moire-Kulun thought.According to the recompacted icesnow cutting test bed,the cutting test of the recompacted ice-snow was carried out.The test results were analyzed by using Design-Exper8.0 software.The analysis results show that the optimum parameters of the cutting tool are cutting depth 18 mm,installation angle 35 degrees, and back angle 13~15 degrees,which verified the rationality of the failure criterion.For the plate recompacted ice-snow,the rotary cutting type steel brush,concave disc and gear tooth snow clearing component were designed.And the Pro/E software was used to model the 3D model.According to the requirement of rotary cutting snow clearing,the movement state and the working condition of the snow clearing component were analyzed.The analysis results show that the moving track of the snow clearing components in working process is the rest complementary cycloid.ADAMS software was used to simulate the ice breaking mechanism, and the simulation results were in agreement with the theoretical analysis.The recompacted ice-snow clearing test of four kinds of snow clearing components were carried out respectively.The test results show that the cutting effect of the snow clearing components of rotary cutting steel brush,concave disc and gear teeth is better to the plate recompacted ice-snow that density less than 500kg/m3 and thickness of 30~50mm.In the process of snow clearing,the clearing prototype running in good condition,The clearing rate of all components was higher than 90%, and the profiling effect was better, the snow clearing efficiency was higher.The rotary cutting mechanism of obstacle crossing was designed for the rotary wedge shaped snow clearing parts, and the performance test was carried out for them.Test results show that the snow parts could smoothly over obstacles without interrupting or bypass according to the obstacle crossing mechanism,which was less damage to snow clearing components and road facilities.The recompacted ice-snow clearing test of snow clearing components and the performance test of obstacle crossing mechanism provided reference basis for the research of recompacted ice-snow clearing technology and the development of snow clearing machinery.
