For a long time, the research of gear system dynamics was mostly carried out in the single field, and the actual operating condition of the gear is the result of a variety of mechanical behavior at the same time, so there is a coupling problem that can't be ignored. Under the condition of high speed and heavy load transmission, the gear meshing will generate a lot of heat. Based on the previous studies, the thermal stress generated by the coupling of temperature field and the stress field will have a certain impact on the dynamic characteristics of the gear system, by means of modal analysis of double involute gear transmission, the working condition of double involute gear can be more truly reflected, and it can provide more new ideas for the vibration analysis of ordinary gear. Funded by the natural science foundation of Shandong Province(Number: ZR2014EEM003) "The coupling effect of double involute gear system and the dynamic behavior of elastohydrodynamic lubrication", this article mainly carries on the following research:The dynamic model of double involute gear transmission was deduced, and the torsional vibration model of the double involute gear transmission was established. According to the double involute gear tooth surface forming principle, summarizes the method of double involute gear tooth profile and tooth surface, and gives the end face of the tooth profile equation of double involute gear, And the SolidWorks software was used to carry out the 3D parametric modeling and assembly of the double involute gear, which provides a key model for the finite element analysis of double involute gear transmission. The double involute gear transmission was compared with the ordinary involute gear transmission, and the influence of the gear waist of the double involute gear on the dynamic characteristics of the gear transmission was studied by means of the modal analysis. By using response surface analysis method, the influence of material stiffness and meshing stiffness on the vibration deformation and modal frequency of the system were studied. Under the condition that the condition and other parameters are invariable, the change law of the dynamic performance of the gear drive was studied by changing the step parameters.Compared with common involute gear, the boundary condition of double involute gear was solved, and the finite element analysis of temperature field was carried out, so as to obtain the temperature field distribution of the two gears, the influence law of the distribution of the gear temperature field was studied. The double involute gear transmission of thermo-solid coupling analysis by using sequential coupling method, and makes a comparison with the same parameters of involute helical gear. The thermo-solid coupling analysis of static and dynamic results were compared, by using response surface method, the change of maximum temperature and maximum thermal stress with time and torque were investigated.Respectively to the double involute gear transmission of free modal analysis, the constrained modal analysis, prestressed modal analysis and based on thermo mechanical coupling modal analysis considering, and through analysis and comparison of the modal frequency and vibration mode in static, rotation and thermosetting coupling of three conditions.
