As a clean and pollution-free energy, wind power is gaining more and more attention in each country. In recent years, the momentum of the development of power &electronic-technology is rapid. Due to the rapid development of computer control technology, countries saw the potential of clean energy and pour a lot of manpower and resources on the development and utilization of wind power, and wind power technology has made great progress and get rapid development. VSCF power generation technology is a new kind of wind power technology, its main advantage is that the wind turbines operate at variable speed. The combination of the speed control system and pitch control strategy constitutes the VSCF wind power generation system. Based on this, I chosed the VSCF doubly fed wind turbine control technology for the mainly part of this study.This article first elaborates the research background and significance and research status at home and abroad, and expounds the establishment of the wind turbine modeling and simulation based on FAST in the second chapter, which foreshadows basic theory for the following research on control technologyIn the 2nd chapter, we studied how the VSCF wind turbine works. Including the fan maximum wind energy capture mechanism and VSCF are analyzed, ac excitation principle and ac excitation generator variable speed constant frequency control and modeling, etc., on the basis of main technology from the aspect of principle for subject discusses the operation principle and operation mode.In the 3th chapter, based on the analysis of variable speed constant frequency doubly-fed generator structure and design method of running and completed the task of requirements analysis, this paper introduces the working principle of constant frequency doubly-fed wind power generators and type, and then according to the demand analysis of the working content and modules, completed the LQR controller and ac excitation frequency conversion power control design, in order to improve the variable speed constant frequency doubly-fed wind power generator set control.Finally, done by MATLAB/Simulink module structures, and the validation control algorithm and simulation was carried out on the design improvement of control strategy, through the model simulation test of the design, complete the MATLAB simulation, and the control strategy and the reference control variable method, comparative research and analysis, from the dimension of control precision and parameter setting method of finished the simulation, which demonstrate the design is feasible and innovative on reducing the imbalance of the rotor plane load and keeping robustness in a larger wind speed range.
