As the navy is gradually moving from the coastal waters to the ocean, warship combat training area continues to expand and sailing time is extended. Now repair ability of warship equipment has a very important effect on warship combat ability and the safety of maritime navigation. Using the informationization method and achieving the sharing and publishing of naval equipment maintenance information, it can improve the remote support service of maintenance information and knowledge level and enhance the maintenance support ability of ships. Therefore, to research the ship information resources sharing platform is urgent demand and to focus on the integration and management of heterogeneous data is very improtant.According to the requirement, based on the research of the existing data fusion method and the theory and technology of heterogeneous data fusion based on XML(Extensible Markup Language), a more efficient and safe heterogeneous data fusion system has been proposed and implemented. Firstly, the related technology of heterogeneous data integration has been introduced, the project needs have been analysed, the heterogeneous data fusion system has been put forward and the system structure and function modules have been introduced; secondly, referred to the concept of database view, the ideas of global pattern has been proposed, the heterogeneous data source has been transformed into XML data to integrate using XML as intermediate data conversion format, thus the heterogeneity of underlying data sources have been shielded and a unified and transparent access interface has been provided to the users; thirdly, combined with the characteristics of XML documents, the encoding mode has been designed based on binary tree traversing and trigeminal chain structure of binary tree has been used for the storage mode of the document tree node, then the appropriate keywords have been selected as index with the security level information, the keywords have been sorted by using sorting algorithm of binary tree and the innovative and dynamic index file with security label has been generated, thus data query, integration and showing have been implement; in addition, each data source has been encapsulated as web services by using web services, thus the platform differences in data source have been masked and the fusion system has good characteristics of loose coupling and easy expansion.The heterogeneous data fusion system in the specific projects has been implemented. The system is verified by experiments and the experimental results show that the system is feasible and correct. Therefore the system meets the requirements of the project and has a certain guiding role to the actual engineering work.
