The power transformer is an important and key equipment for the safe operation of the whole power grid. Transformer oil is an important insulating medium in the field operation, and the aging of transformer insulation is mainly caused by thermal aging. Transformer oil is a fractionation product of oil, its main components are hydrocarbons, including alkanes, cycloalkanes and aromatic saturated hydrocarbon, and small amounts of sulfur, oxygen, nitrogen and other substances. The physical and chemical properties of transformer oil are mainly determined by the type and content of hydrocarbon in the composition. So it is very important to analyze and study the composition and structure of transformer oil, which is of great significance to the production and development of the power industry. For the managers and operators of the power network system, it is a very important problem to evaluate the aging condition of the low voltage distribution transformer. Solid insulating material(cellulose material impregnated with mineral oil) is the most vulnerable part of these devices, and the purpose of this study is to detect and study the aging products of insulation materials in transformer oil paper system. This experiment is divided into two parts.1) In the early stage of aging, the aging rate of insulation paper is larger and the linearity is basically kept constant; the aging rate of insulation paper gradually decreases with the increase of time in the late stage of aging. Under the same conditions, the temperature of the aging insulation paper insulation is lower than the temperature of the aging insulation paper insulation. That is, the higher the aging temperature, the greater the rate of aging.2) Methanol concentration increases with the aging time, and there is a trend of exponential growth. In the early stage of aging, the methanol concentration increased steadily, and the methanol concentration increased rapidly in the later stage of aging. And at the same time, the higher the temperature, the greater the methanol concentration.3) In the aging process, with the increase of time, the degree of polymerization of the insulating pattern will change from big to small, the concentration of methanol is from low to high. There is a certain correlation between the concentration of methanol and the degree of polymerization, which indicates that there is a certain correlation between the concentration of methanol and the aging degree of the transformer oil.4) The solid phase extraction of furfural experimental results show that: the optimum adsorption is silica gel, which is need to activate the adsorbents by Muffle furnace before extraction, and the saturated adsorption capacity of per unit adsorbent is 0.31ppm; The desorption process optimum design parameters of solid phase extraction for desorption agent Methanol is 15 ml. the best desorption time is 5min; There is a stable relation of Furfural concentration in transformer oil after adsorption-desorption. The proportional relationship of Furfural concentration in oil ranged from 0.1ppm to 3.00 ppm is stability.
