LEO satellite data acquisition system, referred to DCS (Data Collection Satellite System), consist by a low-orbit micro-satellite constellation, ground gateway stations and various forms of open-end terminals, which obtain information by wide area distributed sensors, use micro/small satellite constellation to achieve a large area, near real-time information perception, complete data collection, aggregation, processing, distribution, information through direct perception of the ground state, to achieve high accuracy, real-time in situ detection with real-time data transmission high, wide geographic coverage, low user cost, which will have broad application prospects, very significant social and economic benefits and play an important role in the national strategic emerging industries in our country. By studying similar systems in recent years, researching on technology system, operation mode, and the breakthrough of short data, multi-user, mass data acquisition technology, in-depth research and guide of government and industry needs, Above all, data collection satellite system construction timing is ripe.This article briefly describes the various components of the satellite data colletion system, and in-depth understanding and comparison of the current development of domestic and foreign satellite data acquisition system, extrude the significance of this research. Secondly, summarizing the satellite orbit constellation design and basic design theory and pointing out the basic methods and principles of design and satellite orbit constellation design, and methods in the design process to consider relevant factors and evaluation.Then, based on the theoretical analysis, combined with foreign commercial satellites have been put into the data acquisition system, based on the actual performance of the proposed specific mission requirements and system requirements, put forward several reasonable and feasible data satellite orbit and Constellation Design program for our country, and build the establishment of software simulation platform, use the satellite simulation tool software (STK) for several design simulation assessment analysis. Finally, according to the proposed satellite constellation design, established model budget and design of the satellite-ground link.In this paper, the proposed data collection satellite constellation program, high feasibility, practicality, for the future development of data acquisition communications satellites in LEO of great practical significance; research in terms of satellite-ground link can be used as future design departments when the satellite system of data collection, with some reference value.
