The current mainstream bearing applied in MTE(Micro Turbine Engine) and air condition cooling system of aircraft are ball bearings.In this dissertation,there are several gas bearings applied in aircraft will be compared with speed characteristic,MTE work performance and cooling system of aircraft air condition refrigeration performance are improved greatly with gas bearing high speed and high precision,and this dissertation pointed out the development direction of the application of the gas bearing in MTE and air condition cooling system of aircraft.The pressure groove as pocket structure can be evenly pressure distribution,and it makes gas bearing load performance improved,but the pressure groove reduce gas bearing stable performance,the gas vortex in pocket is a evidence.In this dissertation captured gas vortex in pressure groove by CFD simulation technology which based on the finite volume method,from results of streamline figure in pocket which shows gas vortex strength increase with high supply pressure or high gas film thickness improved.Then this dissertation optimize the pressure groove that makes the pocket rectangle section change to trapezoid section,the gas vortex strength is weak when gas film less than 10?m through this change,this result can provide reference in the gas bearing pressure groove design or application.The finite element method of numerical calculation is a normal method,but the finite element method is difficult and waste time.The model more tractable with MATLAB PDE toolbox,then the results shows the load capacity consequence differ little with compared with CFD simulation.From the gas consumption results shows gas consumption increase with high supply pressure or high gas film thickness,and gas film thickness`s improving brings pneumatic hammer danger,so in order to avoid danger should reduce gas film thickness in practical application process as far as impossible.
