As the global environment deterioration and energy crisis more and more serious, all countries are actively looking for the clean energy and in all walks of life are burdened with an important task of energy saving and emission reduction. With the development of civil aviation and the deepening of the work for energy conservation and emissions reduction, the advantage of electrification of civil aviation special vehicle is revealing. However, the characteristic of the aviation special vehicle puts forward higher requirements for power quality and monitor. Battery Management has become more and more important. Battery management system can increase the service life of power battery and improve the mileage of vehicles. To a large extent, it determines the safety and reliability of the vehicle.Based on S3C2440 processor as the core, under the background of civil aviation special vehicle electrification promotion, battery management system of power battery is designed.The system can realize the functions of parameter detection, failure warning, SOC estimation,human-computer interaction and so on. The main contents of this paper includes as follows:1.Through analyzing the characteristics of Li Fe PO4 power battery, the basic function and overall structure of power management system are determined.2.Through research the external characteristic of Li Fe PO4 battery to establish a model which has a high degree of approximation. The structure is relatively simple and parameters are easy to obtain.3.Using the Extended Kalman Filter algorithm, the state of charge of power battery is estimated and simulated.4.Based on S3C2440 processor, the hardware selection and circuit design of power management system are completed.5.The software programming of battery management system is completed.In the environment of a laboratory, the design and development of power management system is tested. The results show that this system can realize the expected function and has higher accuracy and stability.
