The blasting vibration damage control is the major frontier of blasting areas and academia. Damping holes, as an effective control blasting technology, have been used to protect the slope, excavation and building. And have achieved great economic and social benefits. Due to the reflection, diffraction and transmission of the blasting seismic wave, the strength of a wave will be weakened when meeting the damping holes. At present, as the research on the damping effect of damping holes is limited, it can't provide a reference for practical engineering application. Therefore, Optimization of the damping hole parameters, the factors of damping rate is necessary. This paper intends to analyze the damping hole parameters, damping rate by means of numerical computation, simulation test, numerical simulation analysis. The main research results are as follows:(1) Through analyzing the stress wave field, when blasting seismic wave meeting the damping holes before or after. Study on the propagation of steady wave equations and boundary conditions. Draw a general relationship between the diameter and Poisson's ratio and the damping factor RF.(2) Under different conditions, on the basis of experiment program models, analyzes the damping rate general relationship. The results show that the increases of damping hole diameter D,the number of rows n,depth H,the damping rate increases also. But for the damping hole blasting distance e,damping hole distance a,it draw a different conclusion.(3) The tests shows that the vertical vibration is larger than the blasting vibration in the horizontal direction. When the radial direction vibrations are smaller than the vertical vibration.(4) According to the finite element software ANSYS, in different parameters condition, analyze the peak of the vibration rate. Through the numerical computation and the diagram, draw the same conclusion with the site experiment.test.
