| As the living standard of human beings has been continuously improved, people is paying more attention to the health, and hospital is the most important institution for disease prevention and management, so it is increasingly important to people. In recent years, lots of researches had been done about the hospital buildings while there are few researches about the thermal comfort of patients in hospital wards. The PMV model of Professor Fanger is the basis of the domestic research about thermal comfort of patients in hospital ward, and then get the parameters of the patient’s thermal neutral temperature, and the temperature range can be obtained. But the standard of thermal comfort of hospital buildings is almost based on the thermal comfort model of Professor Fanger which without taking into account the particularity of the patient’s illness. Studies have indicated that the metabolic rate of patients is different from healthy people, and human thermal comfort feeling is affect by metabolic rate, so directly used PMV model to study the thermal comfort of patients with the metabolic rate recommended by Standard is improper. So this paper has found a appropriate forecasting model for predicting the metabolic rate of the patient through a lot of literature research.In order to obtain more real patient thermal sensation data, the method of this study adopt field survey of hospital ward. The field measurement respectively in 2014 and 2015 July, 2015 and 2016 January, the investigation on the thermal environment of the wards and thermal sensation of patients and caregivers is under the condition of air conditioning. A total of 1078 valid questionnaires were obtained, 505 and 573 respectively in summer and winter. 14 widely used energy prediction formula are found through literature research. It is confirmed that the Ireton-Jones1992 formula can predict the patient’s energy metabolism more accurately through the comprehensive analysis of the prediction formula in terms of accuracy, deviation and other aspects of performance. So this paper used Ireton-Jones1992 formula calculate the energy metabolism of the patient which is used for PMV model of Professor Fanger to study the thermal comfort of the patients in the ward.Because the main groups of wards are patients and caregivers, so caregivers treated as one of the main research object. Finally, this paper get a conclusion that thermal neutral temperature of patient and caregivers with metabolic rate calculated by IretonJones1992 formula. Through the calculation get the acceptable temperature which is the outcome of integrating patients and caregivers. According to the characteristics of the patients in different wards, the department was divided into internal medicine and surgery and the thermal neutral temperature of internal medicine and surgery patients were obtained. |
