Star sensor is a very important sensor system in the measurement and control of the space vehicle. As the star sensor using CCD as the sensor has become more and more mature, there are still some problems to be solved. It is because of the existence of these problems, the APS(active pixel sensor)as to be able to replace the CCD star sensor technology into a long time to the new research focus.APS star sensor has the advantages of high integration, simple hardware circuit and so on.It is very helpful to the application and research of the star sensor. In recent years, with the continuous development of micro and small satellites, the demand of star sensor also presents the trend of micro miniaturization.Under the premise of satisfying the small type and its performance index, all the chips are made to maximize the localization of star sensor. This paper mainly studies the design of the parameters, the construction of the system, and the performance of the key technology problems of the design of the parameters. The following research work is carried out in this paper:1.Based on the CMOS APS sensor chip and CPU chip, the design of micro-type star sensor has been made, and the parameters of the optical system are determined. The hardware system has been completed.2.The principle of the APS image sensor has been analyzed, the star sensor to complete the location of the center of mass, star map matching, attitude algorithm,etc..3.Based on the existing star sensor software algorithm, the noise reduction algorithm is designed.Perfect the function of the software, improve the man-machine communication PC software.4.Develop a star sensor system and test it.
