Aircraft noise and engine nitrogen oxides(NO_x) emissions have become increasingly serious environmental problems, and have a more and more serious impact on human and ecological environment. Since ICAO issued Annex 16 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation Environmental Protection Volume I, Aircraft Noise and Volume II, Aircraft Engine Emissions, for the control of aircraft noise and engine emissions pollution, especially nitrogen oxides pollution, ICAO has been studying more stringent standards of noise and engine emissions limits to reduce the impact of the aviation activities of aircraft and engines on human and the environment. This paper studies the stringency scenarios of aircraft noise and nitrogen oxides, laying emphasis on analyzing the environmental and economic assessment process of the NO_x stringency scenarios in CAEP/8 based on APMT-Economics,meanwhile, the paper analyzes what effects stringency scenarios play on the aircraft and engine, and has a brief introduction to the evaluation model of the airport atmospheric environment-LASPORT model. In addition, with the use of VC++ and Access database software programming, a set of database query software about NO_x stringency has been developed, through which data query relative to the NO_x stringency analysis process can be realized. The research and analysis in this paper can provide data and information for aircraft noise and NO_x emissions reduction, as well as providing information reference for China's large aircraft airworthiness standards of aircraft noise and NO_x emissions. The Federal Aviation Administration(FAA), in collaboration with Transport Canada and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, is developing a comprehensive suite of software tools to facilitate thorough consideration of aviation's environmental effects. The main goal of this effort is to develop a critically needed ability to characterize and quantify the interdependencies among aviation-related noise and emissions, impacts on health and welfare, and industry and consumer costs, under different policy, technology, operational, and market scenarios..CAEP use the tool to make a suit of stringencies to lower the NO_x emissions, which can be more string than CAEP/6...
