Structural dynamic characteristic is the natural performance for launch vehicle, rational and exact predictive result of dynamic characteristics is quite important to structural design、attitude control system design、load calculation and so on. One of the main means to analyze structural dynamic characteristics of launch vehicle is numerical simulation, several key techniques of which are studied in this paper. The main work is summarized as follow:A generalized method based on Patran Command Language is proposed to build vehicle’s beam typed model, and its key steps are introduced detailedly. To verify the feasibility of this method, beam typed models of different configurations and different time are built separately.An updating method of vehicle’s beam typed model is proposed based on Genetic Algorithm, combined with the generalized modeling method. Its principle and process is introduced detailedly. The feasibility of this method is verified by updating the beam typed model of a certain vehicle.Modal characteristics of a certain launch vehicle are analyzed, based on which a modal filtering method using vibration mode data is proposed. Its principle is introduced detailedly. The feasibility of this method is verified by filtering the modals of a certain parallel vehicle and a certain strap-on vehicle separately.Based on the three methods above, a generalized software for structural dynamic characteristic analysis of launch vehicle is developed.The structure、design of program and interface of this software is introduced detailedly. This software make it generalized to build model、calculate and analysis.These works on structural dynamic characteristic analysis of launch vehicle in this paper can provide thoughts to engineering application, make it quick and accurate to analyze structural dynamic characteristic, and have great theoretical significance and engineering values.
