Detection, tracking and prediction of the surface moving target, serving as the fundamental monitoring function of the runway incursion system, not only facilitate target identification and intrusion control but also enhance controllers' traffic situational awareness. Considering the inherent deficiencies in the existing monitoring equipment, target detection and tracing prediction on the basis of geomagnetic sensing technology is presented in this paper.Firstly, single-node dual AMR sensor is adopted to detect node in this paper. It is advised to consider the prior information of the background and characteristics of surface moving target and thereby constituting geomagnetic sensor network to perceive the airport traffic situation.Secondly, adaptive threshold algorithm is advanced, and also a dual AMR sensor based state complementary fusion detection algorithm is designed combined with the actual characteristics of the geomagnetic interference signals of the moving target; single AMR sensor and dual AMR sensor were used for extraction of the target direction; the target average speed and instantaneous speed are extracted and an instantaneous speed extraction approach based on the double geomagnetic signal feature is presented in this paper.Furthermore, this paper presents I-IMM based target tracking and prediction algorithm in terms of the speed small data sample acquired. The algorithm reconstructs the model probability likelihood function through weighted sum on the mean of residual errors, and the probability of model transition is updated for self-adaption by posterior information, speeding up the model switching and increasing model identification degree. Then after comprehensive analysis, in both states when the aircraft is perceptible and not perceptible, it can be concluded that the tracking and prediction with I-IMM algorithm is more effective than that with IMM algorithm, and especially when the aircraft is in the imperceptible stage.At last, geomagnetic signal acquisition system of the surface moving target is developed in this study. The target geomagnetic signals of the field acquisition are used to verify the state complementary fusion detection algorithm and the effectiveness of the instantaneous speed extraction approach based on the double geomagnetic signal characteristics.
