With the rapid development of AC traction electric locomotive,the maintenance task is becoming more and more heavy.However,the garage does not have traction power network to provide power,and the original shifting program for DC locomotive cannot be applied to the AC locomotive.In order to solve these problems,this paper designs a method which adopts locomotive battery as the power source of the shifting system.This system aims to increase the battery voltage from DC110 V to DC600 V and connect it to the locomotive DC600 V busbar through designing a new DC/DC converter and then convert the power from DC600 V to AC380 V with the transformer device so that the locomotive could move in garage.This paper adopts the full-bridge DC/DC converter as the boost circuit combining the advantages and disadvantages of different types of DC/DC converters with the characteristics of moving locomotive in garage.The main contents of the study are drawn as follows:(1)Research on key technology of full-bridge DC/DC converter.This part specifically analyses the working process,control mode,secondary duty cycle loss and rectifier diode parasitic oscillation problem of full-bridge DC/DC converter and simultaneously gives the suppression measures.(2)Analysis of the full-bridge DC/DC converter control system.A small-signal model of full-bridge DC/DC converter is established.This part also designs the feedback compensation system through MATLAB and then gives the simulation analysis on the full-bridge DC/DC converter.(3)Analysis on producing and testing the experimental prototype.On the basis of theoretical analysis,simulated research and existing conditions,a 600V/100 W small power full-bridge DC/DC converter prototype is produced to be tested at all loads,and the test results verify the rationality of design.Finally,the main contributions and conclusions of the thesis are summarized,and some further topics concerning are brought forward.Although the prototype test system is unable to fully simulate the working characteristics of the locomotive battery,it can verify thefeasibility of the design.It has a certain reference value for using the battery as power source of shifting system.
