The wireless communication system of rail transit needs to transit large number of data,such as:Communication Based Train Control System,Closed Circuit Television,Passenger Information System and the fault information of the train,etc.And in recent years,802.11 WLAN technology is widely used in the train-ground wireless communication system,but,due to the influence of bandwidth,transmission rate,external interference and other factors,WLAN technology is not very perfect to meet the needs of all kinds of transmit information,so,it is an urgent need to explore a new and efficient wireless communication transmission technology to meet the safety operation of the train and the passenger service.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the related problems and present situation of WLAN technology in the rail transit,Secondly,it analysis the technical characteristics of LTE and the feasibility of its application in the rail transit,and concluded the technical differences and disadvantages in terms of theory.On this basis,we build a test platform in the real environment of rail transit,and obtain the relevant technical performance parameters in the engineering practice,in the end,we verify the feasibility and correctness of LTE technology in rail transit.According to the research conclusion,the application of LTE technology in rail transit can solve many problems,such as:mutual interference,band-limited,packet losing,it provides theoretical basis for the application of LTE technology in rail transit.
