| The comprehensive performance of a yacht is highly demanded.In the process of yacht design,besides the performance of comfort,the good hydrodynamic performance is indispensible.The velocity performance of a yacht directly influence the quality of that,thus influence the using performance and economic performance.So it is the key point that optimize the velocity performance of a yacht for improving the competitiveness of yacht industry.The study of resistance prediction has been one of the important research areas.The research of the hydrodynamic performance is significant to the development of the yacht industry in our country.Based on theory of CFD,this paper conducted numerical simulation for the motion of planing boat in static water at different speeds and got the resistance values.Then modifyed the shape line to improve the resistance performance.First of all,AutoCAD and Maxsurf were used in establish the model of the planing boat.And Gambit and FLUENT,which belong to CFD softwares,were used in numerical simulation.In this paper,the RNG k-ε model and VOF model were used to solve the RANS equations.Then the resistance values could be calculated.And the flow field,stress around the bottom,and the wake flow are analyzed as well.Secondly,this paper has analyzed longitudinal center of gravity and dead rise angle of the yacht,which have an influence on the resistance performce.Through the methods of penalty function and changing the shape line,this paper has made an optimization on the resistance performance and comparison of the numerical simulation results.Finally,we got the optimized planing boat in best resistance performance through comparison among their resistance values. |
