With the growth of gloabal population and water consumption, available fresh water resources becomes less and less. What’s more,the phenomenon of waste water resources coused by long running water is very serious. It is caused by water supply system of pipeline failures, off tap of public field and forgetting to turn off the faucet. It not only wastes precious water, but also leads to neighborhood leakage issue.In this paper, according to the constant current characteristics of running water, the constant current timing method is used to estimate the running water. The intelligent anti running water system used for home is consisted of smart valve and centralized control meter. The smart valve is used to repalace the traditional mechanical water valve. It can be controlled by centralized control meter by means of wireless communication, and the centralized control meter can be interacted with the user control by way of GSM.Smart valve is consisted of pulse electromagnetic valve, water generator, rechargeable batteries, control circuit, wireless communication unit and so on.The function of water generator acted as flow sensor to abtain the messege of running water, and as the system power supply. The centralized control meter is formed from GSM communication module, wireless communication module, touch LCD, ARM control center, etc. It works high speedly,more reliable and conveniently.The combination of initial setting and adaptive learning method are used to recognize the running water. At the beginning of the product (90 days), running water discriminant time is setted by user according to their own water conditions. At the same time, The peak time of running water is recorded automatically every day, which is used to form peak time series. The adaptive filtering algorithm is used to predict the 91th peak time (M) according to the first 90 days of daily peak water data. M is rised by one 5 discriminant time as running water to realize adaptive learning control of the running water.The intelligent anti running water mey be used for home, schools, factories and so on. With convenient installation, safty and reliability, the phenomenon of running water can be avoided, In addition, water resouces can be saved, and the floor neighborhood disputes caused by running water can be reduced. It is conducive to the two type of society and the construction of a harmonious society.
