Compared with traditional combustor,ultra-compact combustor(UCC)has more advantages.In particular,the weight of the combustor will be further reduced after hybrid vanes were used.Based on original research achievements,new hybrid vanes were designed.The design point is that radial vane cavity(RVC)was designed at the suction side of the hybrid vane.Firstly,in order to analyze the influence of axial length of RVC on combustion performance,combustion process and pollutant emission of UCC,three different axial length of RVC were designed.Then,the effects of mainstream velocity and secondary flow velocity on combustion performance,combustion process and pollutant emission of UCC were analyzed.The results show that:(1)the change of axial length of RVC can affect the migration of unburnt products into RVC.The change of axial length of RVC has little influence on OTDF?RTDF and combustion efficiency,but has great influence on radial profile of average temperature at outlet along relative apan.With the reduction of axial length of RVC,NO emissions increased,UHC emissions reduced,CO emissions change regulation is not obvious and the total pressure loss increased.(2)When mainstream velocity increased,velocity in the circumferential cavity and inter-vane channel increased gradually,temperature in the circumferential cavity and inter-vane channel decreased reversely.When secondary flow velocity increased,velocity in the circumferential cavity and inter-vane channel increased gradually,temperature in the circumferential cavity and inter-vane channel is also the same.The change of mainstream velocity and secondary flow velocity have little effects to OTDF and RTDF,but have great influence on radial profile of average temperature at outlet along relative apan..When mainstream velocity increased,total pressure loss,combustion efficiency and NO emissions increased gradually,the emissions of CO and UHC decreased reversely.When secondary flow velocity increased,total pressure loss,CO and UHC emissions increased gradually,while the change regulation of combustion efficiency and UHC emissions is not obvious.
