In this paper,the combustion characteristics of aluminum are numerically simulated with the combustion of aluminum particles in the composite solid propellant.The main contents are as follows:(1)Based on the detailed reaction mechanism between aluminum and oxygen,the homogeneous gas-phase reaction model of aluminum/oxygen was established.The main mechanism of the reaction between aluminum and oxygen was analyzed by numerical calculation.The changes of the components of aluminum and oxygen in the closed environment were studied.The effects of ambient pressure and temperature on the reaction process were studied,and the relationship between reaction equilibrium time and ambient pressure and temperature was studied.(2)Based on the detailed reaction mechanism of aluminum and water,The main mechanism of the reaction between aluminum and water was analyzed by zero-dimensional homogeneous gas-phase reaction model.The changes of the components of aluminum and water in closed environment were studied.The effects of ambient pressure and temperature on the reaction process were studied,and the relationship between reaction equilibrium time and ambient pressure and temperature was studied.(3)The ignition model of aluminum particles was established.The influence of the temperature and the particle size of aluminum particles on the melting time,the changes of the components and ignition time of the aluminum particles were studied by simulating the ignition environment of the solid propellant.(4)Based on the analysis of the existing combustion models and theoretical studies of aluminum particles,a one-dimensional steady combustion model of aluminum/oxygen was established.The main characteristics of combustion of aluminum particles with different particle sizes were calculated and analyzed,and the flame temperature and the distribution of the components in the combustion process of aluminum were obtained.
