The core of working cycle of spark ignition engine is turbulence combustion in the cylinder,which affects the engine power,economy and emission.Turbulence combustion in constant volume combustion chamber(CVCC)mainly simulates the combustion of engine near the TDC,which has the advantages of simple structure and can easy study on the influence of single parameter variation about combustion.In order to study the characteristics of turbulence combustion in CVCC.it is necessary to establish a CVCC experimental system.This paper is focused on the design of the experimental platform for premixed turbulence combustion and launches the elaboration through design concept,component composition and operational principle of five parts:experimental platform scheme,CVCC.turbulence generation,ignition system and data acquisition system.A symmetrical CVCC is designed.Besides,data acquisition and ignition control system are constructed to achieve synclhronization of ignition and data acquisition.In this paper,the finite element method is used to calculate the structural strength of the CVCC.A simplified model of CVCC is established in the finite element software.Mesh,contact relation and boundary condition are analyzed and set according to the characteristics of CVCC.The maximum stress and stress distribution of the CVCC are analyzed and the strength of each component is checked by strength theory.In addition,the aim of this paper is to study the synchronization and stability of synchronous belt mechanism in turbulence generator and the angular velocity difference between the driven pulley is taken as the evaluation index.Three dimensional dynamic simulation model of synchronous belt is established,which is to study on the influence of the speed of the driver pulley,tension pulley position and tensioning force on the dynamic performance of the synchronous belt transmission mechanism.The characteristics of turbulent flow in CVCC is important basis for the interpretation of premixed turbulence combustion phenomenon and combustion mechanism.Through the establishment of CVCC model for numerical simulation of floxw field,the velocity vector distribution in CVCC is analyzed and turbulence intensity is calculated.
