Research And Simulation On Wave Load Characteristics Of Ship Based On CFD Theory

In recent years,with the function of a computer's hardware and software improved,CFD is being applied gradually more and more wide-spreadly in the field of naval architecture and marine engineering.The research of all kinds of function of ships is becoming more and more significent.In this article,the author regards certain offshore engineering vessel as an object of study and make models to simulate the real sence by CFD so that the author can study the impact of flow field around hull on ships specifically.First of all,CFD is used to simulate flow field around ships by the way of numerical simulation to obtain the resistance of ships under different Froude numbers and compare it with the resistance values of calculated by the 1957 ITTC formula and the Bamimer formla to verify its correctness.Next,by setting different inlet conditions to simulate real sence,the author will analyze the results of simulation to obtain the variation of the velocity of flow field around ships and the pressure of ships under different working conditions.At the same time,the author will make the models of a large-scale container ship and a small yacht to simualte real sence and compare and analyze the results of simulation to obtain the general rule of wave loads on ship motion under different working conditions.And then,the author will simulate the impact of the function of UDF on dynamic wave and ship to obtain the influence of the change of velocity of the velocity of flow on the resistance of ships.In the end,based on CFD,the author will simulate offshore engineering vessel with free surface by numerical simulation.And the author,for the models of two phase flow,will capture the surface by VOF.And the resistance of ships is obtained when wind loads and wave loads act simultaneously,and is compared with the resistance values caused by wind loads and wave loads acting respectively on ships.
