Switched Reluctance Drive has wide speed regulation and high reliability with simple and solid structure.In high power application,SRD can provide big starting torque with relative low starting current and has the ability of frequent starting and stopping.SRD is no longer in cost disadvantage with the popularization of transducer in the field of AC regulating system.With the advantage of low maintenance,low cost and long service life,SRD has broad prospects in electrically power fields like oil field,mine and electric vehicle.This thesis proposes a versatile sensorless drive of switched reluctance motor with only nameplate rating.This thesis first reviews the arising and development of switched reluctance motor,emphatically introduces several commonly used indirect position detection methods,and points out the research objectives and significance.The following chapter introduces the structure and operation principle of SRM,analyzes the phase current waveform and torque and expatiates the theory of position detection based on pulse injection method with no predefined electromagnetic parameters.Considering the inductance curve can be acquired by above method,this thesis design a direct instantaneous torque control strategy for SRM combined with single neuron adaptive PID control for desired torque regulation.Experiment is performed on platform based on TMS320F2812 to verify the correctness of the drive system.The last part of the thesis concludes the work of the thesis and the research results,summarizes the shortage of proposed design and gives prospect of versatile drive of SRM.
