With the rapid development of automotive industry,the significant research direction of automotive technology lies in improvement of automobiles' intellectualization and expansion of automobiles' functions for improvement of drivers' driving experience and interest.In this paper,a kind of device that can be installed onto automobiles is researched and designed so as to realize the objective that drivers and passengers can arbitrarily set the exterior vision that they can see without influencing driving safety when they look out of the windows,which improves drivers' and passengers' driving experience and interest through visual improvement of exterior environment.Meanwhile,with application of the device,other intelligent functions can be realized more easily with certain expansibility.In this paper,the research design process of visual improvement system of exterior vision is analyzed and demonstrated.Firstly,it is necessary to be clear that the overall design thought is to shoot the scenery ahead with the camera and to display the processed pictures on the windshield display screen.The picture dislocation problem in the scheme is analyzed to propose the solution to use movable multi-camera based on face recognition,that is,the turning angle of camera depends on the location of human face so that the axis of each camera can pass through human eyes.Subsequently,according to functions to be achieved as designed,based on the selection rules of motors,sensors and control chips,the design is confirmed as a set of feedback control system,in which PC serves as the host computer and STC89C52 RC serves as the master chip of the lower computer with combination of components like PCF8591,ULN2003,the stepper motor and the linear displacement sensor.The system is an integrated system which combines software and hardware,including movable and fixed platforms of camera,double-camera face recognition locator,control program of stepper motor,processing program of sensor signals,processing program of serial communication and data and so on.In this paper,calibration and debugging of the finally-established simulation platform are accomplished so as to ensure the whole set of system can normally operate for the test and to prove the feasibility and practicability of the design scheme,offering future research developing direction of the device with certain guiding significance.
