Smart grid is an intelligent power system, which is involved in many industries,such as sensing and detection, communication, IT, new materials, and so on. The development of the smart grid is a long-term and huge scientific research and engineering practice, the emergence of a variety of business innovation, including distribution automation system, intelligent dispatching technical support system,electricity information collection, mobile payment, customer automatic fault diagnosis and processing, intelligent business expanding services, intelligent inspection,transmission line intelligent substation, intelligent community, intelligent electric appliance control, electric vehicle charging station. These emerging services in the grid tries to improve the level of intelligence and production safety level, but also gives the challenges on the existing wired deployment of traditional power grid.Firstly, this thesis studies the overall structure of the smart grid, including the structure, business application and application technology of power wireless network.Then, the main application and research direction of cooperative communication are analyzed, which are mainly divided into the relay selection of the source node, the relay node signal forwarding, the destination node receiving and combining. Then it extends into the LTE and LTE-A wireless relay and multi-point collaborative technology, and analyzes the possible scenarios of multi-source, multi service and multi relay.Secondly, the relay selection strategy in cooperative communication is analyzed,including the relay selection based on instantaneous and average channel characteristics.With building a simulation model of the source node and the relay link destination node on the Matlab platform, the opportunistic relaying algorithm and threshold selection algorithm of BER simulation, and it focuses on the impact of optimizing the collision probability of opportunistic relay selection.Finally, according to the power system in different business situations in the multi-source multi relay scenario, the thesis proposes a relay selection strategy based on the fusion of quality of the service in users', and the algorithm is designed in detail,especially the introduction of the concept of preemptive priority, analyses of the distinction between different users to choose the relay in function. Then the paper varies the test of various users accounted for the total number of candidate relay under a single base station. With the impact on the stability of the different nodes, contrasts the performance of the real effect of relay coordination, and to further improve the whole selection strategy and algorithm, it analyzes the number of arranged relays under the determined user priority.
