China's ancient architecture is very outstanding.And Chinese created a series of advanced processing technologies.When we research on ancient architecture foundations,we found a brick and clay foundation,which is a typical periodic structure.The periodic structure exist attenuation properties in the study of modern solid-state physics,that is when the frequency of the external incentives in the attenuation zones,the elastic wave propagation will be greatly attenuated.So far,It is not only very limited to study the dynamic characteristics of the foundation of the ancient building based on the periodic theory,but also it is rare to consider the two-phase medium properties of the soil.Due to the presence of groundwater,the soil in the project is closer to the saturated soil Therefore,it is necessary to re-analyze the dynamic characteristics of the foundation used the two-phase medium model.In this paper,we will use the Biot theory and periodic theory to study the dynamic characteristics of layered periodic structures in a two-phase saturated medium and the dynamic characteristics of the foundation of the ancient building are given.The four major ingredients are as follows:1.The basic theories about layered periodic structures in a two-phase saturated medium are introduced,including Biot dynamic theory and periodic theory.2.The model of layered periodic structures in a two-phase saturated medium is established.At first,its correctness is verified.Then,the attenuation zone of the structure is calculated by the use of the model.At the same time,the dispersion curves of the layered periodic foundation with two-phase saturated media and one-phase saturated media are compared.3.The material parameters and geometric parameters are calculated.By discussing the influence of material parameters and geometric parameters on the attenuation zone,a reasonable vibration isolation foundation is designed.4.A numerical analytical model for layered periodic structures in a two-phase saturated medium is build.A frequency domain response analysis is conducted and the effectiveness of it in vibration attenuation is verified.
