Application Of Mindlin Solution In Settlement Calculation Of Composite Foundation With Rigid Piles

As an effective foundation treatment method,rigid pile composite foundation is more and more widely used in practical engineering.However,due to the complexity of the interaction relation between pile and soil,the research on the deformation theory of rigid pile composite foundation is still not comprehensive enough.Therefore,this paper firstly takes the engineering characteristics and deformation mechanism of rigid pile composite foundation as the breakthrough point,through the analysis of several conventional methods to calculate the settlement of rigid pile composite foundation,points out the existing problems and limitations.Secondly,puts forward the method of using integral formula of Mindlin stress solution in Building pile foundation technical specification to calculate the settlement of rigid pile composite foundation,at the same time,analyzes the effects of different factors on the additional stress and settlement,thus obtains the conclusion: in these factors,except the impact of the pile tip resistance and poisson's ratio on the additional stress is small,other factors have a greater impact on the additional stress,and the error can not be ignored.And then,the distribution form of pile side frictional resistance ? is analyzed mainly,and obtains its approximate range,next,specific the value of ?,thus avoid the situation that only according to the engineering practice experience to confirm the value of ?.Besides,after the calculation and analysis,it can be known that the value of pile tip resistance ? has little influence on final settlement,so when calculating the settlement,the value of ? can be the mean value.By applying the method of calculating rigid pile composite foundation settlement proposed in this paper,and comparing the calculation result with conventional calculation method,following conclusions can be received: first,the settlement calculating by Mindlin stress solution integral formula in is Building pile foundation technical specification more in line with the actual results compared with the conventional algorithm,which has a certain reference function to the engineering practice;second,by studying the influence of different factors have on settlement calculation,such as pile spacing s,pile length l,poisson ratio ?,pile tip resistance ?,and pile side frictional resistance ? and so on,then get the conclusion: pile tip resistance ? and poisson ratio ? have little effect on settlement calculation results,while the effect of pile spacing s,pile length l and pile side frictional resistance ? is relatively large.
