As a new manufacturing processes,additive manufacturing has profoundly changed the product design and manufacturing methods since its appearance.As a result of the ability to shape functional parts with arbitrary shape and excellent mechanical properties,additive manufacturing technology for the metal material has become a research hotspot at home and abroad.At present,the study of additive manufacturing for the metal material has mainly focused on forming equipment,forming process and forming material.But for the traditional design methods,the study on design methods of additive manufacturing has been significantly changed for the metal materia is few.In order to give full play to the advantages of additive manufacturing technology for the metal material,the further study of its design method will have a strong theoretical and practical value.This thesis mainly studies the design method of complex metal component for additive manufacturing technology for the metal material by two aspects: theoretical research and experimental verification.The thesis analyses the process characteristics of metal parts' directly manufacturing by selective laser melting,then summarizes the application object of the complex metal component design tool for additive manufacturing,adopted design and manufacturing integration,furthermore,proposes a general design process about design method of complex metal component for additive manufacturing technology for the metal material.Taking the stent of femoral head as an example,the innovative design method of the complex metal component was studied,and the design flow of the complex metal component design and integration of additive manufacturing was verified.Taking the aircraft joints and metal probe as examples,the optimization design method of complex metal components was studied.Under the premise of not changing the original performance requirements,optimization design of metal component for additive manufacturing was based on porous structure and finite element analysis.And the influence of the processing process on the design performance of the parts was studied experimentally.Through the forming experiments of typical parts such as gap test piece,hollow sphere,round hole,square hole and step piece,the design ability of the typical structure was analyzed,and the design parameters of typical structure for additive manufacturing were given.The design parameters of typical structure for additive manufacturing can provide data support for design practice.A more complete design method was proposed by studying the design method ofcomplex metal parts for additive manufacturing.The forming ability of some typical structure of additive manufacturing is experimentally verified,and some general design criteria are summarized.After more than a year's practical application,the effectiveness of the design method of complex metal components for Additive Manufacturing was verified.
