With the rapid development of industrial and manufacturing,the traditional DC motor can not meet the requirements of complex industry due to the shortcoming of mechanical commutation.International and domestic academics began to study the special motor,the brushless DC motor(BLDCM)is one of special mortors;The BLDCM has the advantages of high efficiency and long service life.So the brushless DC motors are playing more and more important role in many fields.This article mainly researches the brushless DC motor speed control system.The paper introduces the structure of the brushless DC motor firstly.It analyzes the classification,working principle and characteristics of the brushless DC motor.On this basis,it uses the MATLAB software to establish the model of the motor.Secondly,this article analyzes the brushless DC motor speed regulation method.Through the analysis of the speed regulation method,a conclusion is drawn that the double-loop speed control is more suitable for brushless DC motor speed control system.In the speed control system,it takes speed loop as the outer loop and current loop as inner loop.PI speed controller is adopted in the speed loop usually,but this algorithm makes the system have long settling time and big overshoot.Accordingly,a fuzzy self-adaptive PID control based on variable universe is proposed and it uses particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm to search for the parameters of the contraction-expansion factors.Based on the theory analysis,the design of the controller is applied to the speed loop and simulation experiment.The simulation result has shown that the designed controller has no overshoot,short settling time and also reduces the problem of torque ripple.In addition,the main programs are written under the CCS3.3 development environment and it also uses DSP28335 development board and driver board of Yan Xu Company to control the small power brushless DC motor in this article.The experiment achieves satisfactory effect.Finally,aiming at the limitations of driver board,high power brushless dc motor driver board is designed.
