Thickness thermoforming has been wildly used in medical equipment based on the rapid development of thermoforming.Medical equipment covers include beauty,assembly function,small color difference,uniform thickness,etc.,There is a big challenge for thickness thermoforming process.This thesis begins from thermoforming defection,and then makes detail analysis to put forward the feasible scheme to avoid the defection.This is very important theoretical and practical for thickness thermoforming.This thesis elaborated the basic principle of thermo forming;it includes formed sheet,heating equipment,and thermoforming mold.Thermoforming process includes product design,mold design,thermoforming process.Thermoforming process from original thin to thick sheet development,with the developed computer aided tools,Now have used Polyflow vacuum simulation forming process,assist in process improvement and reduce the cost of debugging.From the actual defection to introduce the research topic,thickness thermoforming defection including the insufficient suction products,no good color gloss,flow mark,fold defection,pits.Those above defections can be eliminated by optimizing the thermoforming process to improve the quality of thermoforming products.The thickness thermoforming process optimization includes several points:the product structure optimization including curve design instead of graphic design,increase the draft angle,double sheet thermoforming instead of simple assembly;Polyflow vacuum simulation technology;mold design optimization including high voltage mold,upper mold assist,core pulling structure,the activity of mold design.The above defection such as insufficient suction and no good color gloss;flow mark and fold and so on can be eliminated by optimizing the thermoforming process,it can meet the requirement of design.This study can ensure the quality of the products,improve the production efficiency,shorten the product development cycle,saving the develop cost more than 5%,it can provide theory for thermoforming counterparts.
