In recent years,many countries in the world have promulgated a number of policy documents to promote the development of new energy vehicles,so there are many shapes electric vehicles,such as: the electric self-balancing scooters,the electric bicycles,the electric tricycle,electric cars and so on.But the battery industry and charging equipment industry developed relatively slowly,so its products are low quality and the lifecycle product is short.These waste batteries and scrap charger caused secondary pollution in the surrounding environment.In view of these factors,this paper studies the working principle of the battery,and analyzes the characteristics of the charging method of the nowadays charger,puts forward a new charging method and designs a kind of intelligent fast charging system which is suitable for many kinds of batteries.The system is composed of four parts: the power factor correction circuit,the digital controlled DC stabilized voltage source,the intelligent control circuit and the operation platform based on ARM(Advanced RISC Machines)technology.This paper analyzes the working principle of active power factor correction circuit,gives a detailed calculation of the power factor correction circuit of the UC3854.The working principle of single ended flyback topology stabilized voltage circuit is analyzed,and the calculation process of the voltage transfer function and the main component parameters are given.On the basis of this circuit,the intelligent control circuit,a negative pulse discharge circuit and communication interface circuit isolation are embedded.The fifth chapter gives the program flow chart of the control system.The software is compatible with other charging methods,and the charging parameters can be set by the host computer.The circuit simulation results and the test results are presented in this paper.The feasibility of the intelligent charging system is verified by them.On the condition of following the Masi law,the charger can detect automatically the battery status and choose the optimal charging mode,then the negative pulse discharge function is used to eliminate the polarization phenomenon.Thus,the battery current receiving rate is improved,and the purpose of fast charging is realized.As the host computer using ARM technology and the slave computer can work independently,so that the intelligent charging system is able to meet the needs of a variety of users and different types of battery.To sum up,it has very high reference value and significance for the development of the electric vehicles industry.
