In recent years,with the increasing attention of people to environmental pollution and energy crisis,the application of new energy has been paid more and more attention by people.All the automobile manufacturers will also develop new energy vehicles as an important strategy to seize the commanding heights of the automotive industry in the future.The Chinese government puts the development of new energy vehicles as a major measure to solve energy issues and environmental issues,and realize the sustainable development path.As is known to all,power battery is the key core component of the new energy vehicles.The improvement of the performance of power battery plays an important role in the development of new energy vehicles.Among the power batteries,because the lithium-ion battery has the advantages of high voltage,high capacity density,small size,light weight,long cycle life,no memory effect,low self discharge,etc.,it is generally recognized as as an ideal energy storage element.In order to promote the development and progress of our power battery industry,and continuously improve the life and safety of the lithium-ion battery,power battery testing system is particularly important.According to the characteristics of the lithium-ion battery,this paper designs a set of power battery cell testing system,which is used to test the electrical performance,life cycle and working conditions of the lithium-ion battery.The system uses two levels of distributed structure,through the CAN bus or RS232 bus to realize the communication between the upper and lower computer.On the one hand,control system software of upper PC writes a program according to the test procedure of the lithium-ion battery,and then controls the output of the current in the lower computer.PC software communicates with the lower computer and reads sample datas through CAN bus.PC software through the SQLite database records,analysis those datas,and displays waveforms.PC software will feedback the analysis results to lower computer,so that the testing program runs normally.On the other hand,this system uses TMS320F28035 as the core processor,which can quickly adjusts the output of the constant current source,and realizes the real-time monitoring of the parameters of voltage,current,power and so on while the lithium-ion battery is charging or discharging.The system realizes the data acquisition of basic parameters of battery voltage,current,temperature,power,watt-hours,ampere-hour,etc.,through the high-speed ADC module.Through the CAN bus or RS232 bus,the datas are transmitted to the upper computer.The system has been added to the battery over voltage,under voltage,over temperature,over current and other protective measures.Finally,through experimental verification,the technical indicators of this system meet the design requirements.
