Gas burning and explosion is one of the serious disasters in tunnel construction of railway and highway, and gas explosion accidents occurred in the history of railway and highway construction in our country which caused great losses. In recent years, non-coal strata gas tunnels emerged many times during the railway tunnel construction in southwest mountain areas. Research on construction technology and management of non-coal strata gas tunnel is valuable to safe construction and operation of high speed railway.Based on the Longquan mountain tunnel of Chengdu-Chongqing high speed railway, the thesis analyses the risk of gas during the construction according to the geological exploration data, studies construction technology of gas monitoring and forecast, rock excavation by blasting, construction ventilation and electrical equipment and machinery. Gas forecast is applied during the process of tunnel construction and excavation with drilling and blasting method for long tunnel with gas of high speed railway is put forward. In terms of tunnel ventilation, blowing ventilation is used in low gas area, blowing ventilation combined with ventilation by ducts is used in high gas area and ventilation scheme optimization including ventilation equipment is carried out. Construction management on tunnel ventilation, personnel management and emergency rescue is studied, construction management measures on the Longquan mountain tunnel are applied, the ventilation regulatory agency is set up and emergency rescue plan for gas accident in the tunnel is proposed.The research on construction technology and management of non-coal strata gas tunnel in this thesis plays an important role in the construction of the Longquan mountain tunnel, and can provide good reference for the same kind tunnel construction.
