Low-rise buildings are usually destroyed in wind load.The wind resistance problem has become a hot issue of wind engineering research,and has been taken more and more extensive attention.The damage of low-rise buildings under wind effect not only leads to economic losses,but also may cause harm to people's lives and property security.Therefore,it is particularly important to reduce or avoid the damage under wind effect.Flow control technology is an important branch and research frontier of fluid mechanics,it can change the flow condition and boundary layer characteristics in the flow field around the research object so that improve the stress state of the object.Plasma flow control is based on plasma aerodynamic excitation active flow control technology and it is new flow control technology which has developed in recent years.At present,plasma flow control technology has a broad application prospect in the field of aerospace.It has obtained some progress and achievements in terms of flow control flow and changes of drag and lift.In the high frequency high voltage power,the plasma produced by plasma actuator can do directional movement under the action of electric field force and apply a controllable disturbance to flow field.In this way,the improvement of flow state around research object and stress state can be realized.Based on plasma flow control technology,this article layout plasma actuator on the double slope roof of low rise building,in order to change the flow structure in the near wall of building,so that it can improve stress state of building and reduce or avoid the damage of building under wind load.The electric which is designed can control the motion state of plasma.The nature of plasma flow control is revealed by "dynamic effect".By applying this principle,the feasibility of application of plasma active flow control technology in the wind field of low-rise building is studied and discussed.Aimed at providing a new way of thinking for wind resistance of engineering structure.The calculational effective area model of plasma actuator is simplified for carrying on mechanical analysis of plasma excitation,the mechanical analysis model of plasma excitation is established.The excitation is quantified by using the plasma volume force obtained by the empirical formula.Thus the plasma excitation is introduced into the flow field.The CFD numerical simulation of plasma flow control technology in application of low rise buildings is realized.Through numerical simulation analysis of change situation of the flow structure and flow state around the building before and after plasma excitation,and then carry on analysis research on the change regulation of lift and roof wind pressure of low-rise building with or without plasma.The result shows that plasma excitation can effectively control the near wall flow field structure and the flow state,thus the stress state of building in the flow field can be improved.
