With the rapid development of the construction industry,people are no longer limited to the requirements of the building only to live only on the aesthetic appearance,space utilization have a higher demand.Therefore,it will appear more or less special components in the architectural design.In this paper,the beams with aspect ratio greater than 4 mentioned in the Code for Seismic Design of Buildings are studied.However,due to the particularity of the building structure,beams with aspect ratio greater than 4 are found in practical engineering.Because of the limited environmental conditions,such beams tend to have little reinforcement,so the beams need to be strengthened.In this paper,through the combination of experiment and finite element analysis to study the use of carbon fiber reinforced plastic beams,the beam of the mechanical properties.In this paper,four RC beams with an aspect ratio greater than 4 are loaded symmetrically in a static manner,such as two beams are reinforced with carbon fiber sheets and two are used as contrast beams.The yield mechanism,failure mode and other mechanical properties of the reinforced concrete deep beams with aspect ratio greater than 4 were analyzed by experiment and finite element software.The failure mechanism and the reinforcement effect of CFRP under damage were also studied.By comparing the experimental data with the numerical simulation results,it is concluded that the reinforced concrete deep beams with beam-section aspect ratio greater than 4 in this experiment are subjected to bending failure under symmetrical static load and no lateral failure Stable phenomenon.It is assumed that the concrete strain along the girder is consistent with the plane assumption after the CFRP reinforcement.The strengthening capacity of RC beams strengthened by CFRP can improve the flexural rigidity of beams effectively.The bending capacity of damaged beam is lower than that of non-damaged beam.Carbon fiber reinforced concrete can reduce the crack expansion of deep beams and increase the cracking load of reinforced concrete deep beams.At the same time,the numerical research method of reinforced concrete simply supported beam strengthened with carbon fiber sheet is given.
