In recent years, with the development of modern society at the same time, the degree of automation is also continuously improving, industrial activities also need to constantly improve the quality of electric energy to meet the needs of industrial users become more and more sensitive to the needs of the industrial activities, does not allow any power quality problems, otherwise, the loss will be immeasurable, therefore, to strengthen the power of modern the control system is very necessary. Because of transient power quality disturbance is extremely secretive problems occur, the reason is more complex, the duration is short, but will cause extremely bad consequences for the transient power quality can ensure the quality is very important. This paper from the disturbance signal compression and Detection of two important aspects of the study.Transient power quality disturbance signal compression link:compared to the original Fourier transform and wavelet transform to two kinds of electric power quality signal compression problem, using the different compression theory--compressed sensing. This new theory from the original sample after compression in the prior bound, but the sampling synchronization and compression so, not only makes compression more efficient but also more save time, but also reduces the hardware requirements, in the case of less sampling can better reconstruct the original signal. In the MATLAB simulation platform also confirmed the validity and practicability of the compressed sensing theory.Transient power quality disturbance signal detection:Based on the traditional Hilbert transform, this paper describes a method of wavelet transform and EEMD Hilbert transform. Firstly to denoise the noise waveform of wavelet transform, and then through the EEMD Hilbert transform, then get the time accurately. The swell disturbance the noise voltage signal, the application of this method in MATLAB platform on voltage sag, instantaneous pulse of three simulated disturbance signal, the simulation results show that this method is more accurate detection of the disturbance position error is smaller.
