Disinfection is the most basic water treatment process in urban water supplies,it can ensure the safe water of users.Although there are many ways to disinfect water at present,each have their respective drawbacks so that they may not be there to meet the fast development of environment needs.On the basis of the domestic and foreign above-mentioned research and the experience lesson,so this time we try hydrodynamic cavitation to be applied to water treatment more safety and safety and efficiently that safe disinfection of drinking water.In this paper,the experiment is applied in stable cavitaion engendered by hydrodynamic cavitation advice were studied by square orifices plate hydrodynamic cavitation device which was independently designed in the Hydraulics Laboratory of Zhejiang University of Technology.Three-dimensional Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV)measurment were used to gain vector field flow of cavitation.The transient pressure characteristics of the flow of cavitation behind multi-orifice plates were collected by the pressure data acquisition system of SINOCERA-YE6263.And the characteristics of kinematic shape of cavitation were observed by High-Speed Photography.Make use of these results can provide the theories basis in water treatment for hydrodynamic cavitation.Objective to analyze the correlation of operating parameters of hydrodynamic cavitation advice,geometrical parameters of square orifices plate and elimination rate of microorganism in raw water.Explore the rule between cavitation parameter and killing process.By PIV,High-Speed Photography analysis results,the liquid gone round the square orifices plate shaping mass cavity.The cavitation flow of the square orifices plate of different orifice number has different peak value of flow velocity,turbulence intensity and Reynolds stress in different cross sections.Orifice number and arrangement mode of multi-orifice caused a series of peak.According to the results section of Multi-parameter water quality meter,with the intensity of cavitation,Oxidation Reduction Potential(ORP)significantly reduced,and with the temperature,the reduced value of the ORP is accordingly increased.But as the degree of cavitation changes,water conductivity show little change.Lab studies of raw water clarification and treatment show the intensity of cavitation varies with different parameters.Cavitation improve killing rate of pathogenic microorganism.Overall,hydrodynamic cavitation is a high effeicient,no secondary pollution,quick and simple disinfection new methods.
