Intelligent ship has become an inevitable trend of the development in shipbuilding and shipping areas.The power plant is the heart of a ship,as the key research object,maintaining its good and reliable operation is particularly important.This paper is based on the power unit for the study of core equipment of diesel engine,focused research on key equipment of diesel engine intake and exhaust systems,by establishing the system of diesel engine and model to get device status data,and apply D-S evidence theory to analyze the data to achieve status assessment of the key components of intake and exhaust systems.Firstly,study the diesel engine intake and exhaust systems,work principle and failure causes and hazards of the various components;create by AVL BOOST software MAN B&W 5S60MC-C two-stroke marine diesel engine simulation model,using bench test data to validate the simulation model,and error is less than 5%,which can make the data acquisition.Secondly,use the diesel engine model to achieve the status of key equipment for simulation of intake and exhaust system,the output device properties.This paper focuses on the intake and exhaust system of diesel engine-low efficiency of the air cooler,reduced turbocharger compressor-end efficiency and exhaust valve timing abnormal state mode,to obtain the performance parameters of the diesel engine,study its influence on diesel engine performance.Finally,the state evaluation model of the key components of diesel engine intake and exhaust system is established by using D-S evidence theory,establish the basic reliability function.According to the combination rule of D-S evidence on the air cooler,turbocharger condition assessment,using 100%diesel engine load,combined with the efficiency of the air cooler 0.9 and efficiency of 0.78 for model validation can be determined in the neutral and poor state of the air cooler,uncertain reliability values from 0.3 to 0.0065 and 0.3 to 0.007,respectively,to accurately reflect the State of the device,again using the turbocharger for status evaluation assessment method can be applied to a device status assessment.
