Rape stalk ash, which is a green, low energy consuming material, can be added to the concrete to improve its internal density and make it more durable. What's more, this procedure can make better use of the agricultural waste, lower the economic cost, achieving the goals of recycling the waste, saving energy and protecting the environment. This paper investigates the impact of rape stalk ash on the erosion resistance of the concrete. We use the mixing amount of rape stalk ash and water-binder ratio as the variables, comparing the performance of erosion resistance to sulfate and chlor ion among different groups, we determine the optimal water-binder ratio and the optimal mixing amount of rape stalk ash. Through orthogonal experiment, this paper also analyzes the effect of rape stalk ash, water-binder ratio and coarse aggregate size on the impermeability performance of the concrete, and determines the optimal mixture ratio. The results show:(1) The ash concrete with water-binder ratio of 0.4 have the high resistance to sulfate erosion than that with water-binder ratio of 0.5. For the 15% rape straw doped ash concretes with water-binder ratio of 0.45, the resistance to sulfate erosion increased 46% than the normal concretes.(2) The rape stalk ash can significantly increase the impermeability performance of the concrete, and the ranking of importance is:A(rape stalk ash)>B(water-binder)>C(coarse aggregate size), and the optimal mixture ratio is A2B1C2 (with rape stalk as 20%, water-binder 0.45, and coarse aggregate size 5-20).(3) After adding 5%?15% rape stalk ash, the amount of solvable chlor ion and apparent diffusion coefficient both decreased, which implies that the concrete's resistance to chlor ion increases. With the increase of concentration, the resistance performance of econcrete with rape stalk ash becomes worse.(4) Adding a certain amount of 5%?15% rape stalk ash can effectively improve the erosion resistance performance of the concrete. The rape stalk ash can help strengthen the thickness of the concrete, preventing harmful substance from entering inside.
