The development of science and technology has flourished kinds and number of machinery & electrical products.However,things happened sometimes which make people harmed,dead,and property lost,even environment pollution because of the poor product safety.Otherwise,machinery&electrical products that satisfied the acceptable level of risk also did not take into consideration the match of safety-critical degree and fault probability of elements.Therefore,it has become the most significant thing in design stage of machinery&electrical product to allocate the safety in order to design a better product.In this study,based on previous studies of safety quantitative model and the study of criticality of elements of machinery&electrical products,the existence conditions of safety and reliability has been analyzed;By thinking that safety and reliability are characters emerged of interaction of elements in machinery&electrical products.On this basic viewpoint,the characters and safety-critical degree of elements of machinery&electrical products has been analyzed,and also,the principle of safety allocation which is based on safety-critical degree has been established;Otherwise,the principle of safety allocation has been described using mathematics;at the same time,that how to iterate the process of safety allocation and when to stop the iterationhas been carried out.At last,one kind of elevator has been used as an example of the allocation model to verify this study.
