PHEV have longer pure electric driving ranges by equipping high-storage batteries and using more energy from electrified wire netting compared with the traditional hybrid electric vehicle.PHEV is believed to be one of the optimal transition from the conventional internal combustion engine vehicle to the final type of environmental-friendly clean energy vehicle under the condition of unsolved the core problem of battery technology and public charging infrastructure of electric vehicle and fuel cell vehicle.The core and key points of PHEV is to develop the components sizing and energy management strategy.According to the characteristics of Jinlv hybrid electric vehicle,the powertrain simulation model was built by using MATLAB/Simulink under the condition of vehicle performance,and then according to the characteristics of PHEV parameters,a multi-objective optimization technique based on the vehicle performance,fuel economy and emissions is proposed,in which the optimizations on DOH is concurrently performed.The fuzzy logic control strategy was also built.The indexs of vehicle performance,fuel economy and emissions are constructed as the cost function,and the DOH is selected to match the design variables,which are optimized by using the Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)combined with fuzzy controller aiming at the limitations of components sizing and energy management strategy.The DOH is obtained under different weight coefficients and the components cost is simultaneously balanced to select the optimal DOH.The Optimization results of components sizing and energy management strategy is to obtain the maximum fuel economy,minimum emissions and good driving performance.The specific content included the following parts:A parallel powertrain configuration of PHEV was proposed and then its work models were analyzed in detail.According to the structure characteristics of PHEV,the simulation model of critical components,vehicle dynamic model and driver model was built by using MATLAB/Simulink software,which is used to analyze the performance characteristics of powertrain,develop the preliminary method of components sizing and provide the basis for study the energy management strategy.According to the requirement of components sizing,the relationship between vehicle performance,fuel economy,emissions and DOH was obtained to study the power allocation of engine and motor.Then a method of components sizing was proposed.The indexs of vehicle performance,fuel economy and emissions are constructed as the cost function,the relationship between components cost and DOH was analyzed and optimize the DOH by using the PSO optimization algorithm.The DOH is obtained under different weight coefficients of combination with two parameters and the components cost is simultaneously balanced to select the optimal DOH.According to the characteristics of fuzzy controller,membership functions and rules were optimized by using PSO algorithm.Improved energy management strategy can control the power allocation,start-stop of engine and motor,recovery of braking energy reasonably and effectively and guarantee the battery SOC at the best area.The choice of battery capacity can satisfy the requirement of driving range.The vehicle performance,fuel economy,emissions have overall improvement by the improved energy management strategy,which is the optimal in theory and has a certain guiding significance for the optimization of energy management strategy.
