The automobile industry is the leading industry of the country,which has a great effect on the development of the national economy.Steering system is the organic part of the car.Automotive electric power steering system can improve the driver's sense of control,and reduce the driver's physical consumption.So in recent years it has become a new research focus.The controller is the most important factor that determines the electric power steering system.Based on a non-electric power-assisted vehicle,with the design of electric power steering system controller mainly concerned,aiming at the problem that the hand is hard to control the steering torque and the wheels can not rotate,the automatic drive servo control system and upper computer acquisition system are designed.The main important contents of this paper include:(1)Firstly,the system structure,working principle and current situation of the electric power steering system are analyzed,the main components of the electric power steering system are analyzed.On this basis,the overall structure of electric power steering system controller is determined.(2)A simplified model of electric power steering system is established,and a simulation model is established in MATLAB.The power characteristics and control strategy of the electric power steering system are studied.The linear assistant characteristic curve is designed and the control strategy of the electric power steering system is studied emphatically,and an effective control strategy is designed.(3)According to the control strategy,the hardware and software design of the electric power steering system controller is designed.The MC9S12DP256 is chosen as the master MCU to design the hardware circuit of the controller.On the basis of the hardware circuit design,the software function requirement is defined,the software design of the electric assistant system controller is given,and the main program of the software design and the flow chart of each subprogram are given;(4)The software design also includes the software design and the host computer design of the auto-drive servo control system for simulating different vehicle speed and different road conditions,and gives out the touch screen interface and PLC control program design.(5)The host computer is developed based on LabVIEW,including real-time data acquisition of electric power steering system,power assist characteristic curve acquisition,system parameter setting and so on.(6)The controller bench test is performed to test the design of the controller's power effect,to test whether the design of the host computer acquisition software is reasonable.
