Cab is an important part of the truck,the structure of cab is directly related to safety,efficiency of operations and the health of driver and passengers.Due to the bad running conditions of the truck,it will often cause the cab structure damage or fatigue failure,so the analysis of cab structure and fatigue life is necessary.Primarily,a white body of cab is taken as the research object.According to the basic theory and analysis steps of the finite element method,the finite element model of the white body of the cab is established by using Hypermesh software.Based on the stiffness analysis theory,the Radioss solver is used to analyze the torsional stiffness and bending stiffness,based on the calculation results,the bending stiffness and torsional stiffness values of the cab are obtained,and the Z-displacement curve and the deformation of the doors and windows are measured.Then,the modal analysis of the cab is carried out.The accuracy of the finite element model is verified by the comparison of the modal test results with the analysis results.The defect of modal property of the cab is found.The key optimization variables are determined by sensitivity analysis,and the multi-objective genetic algorithm is used to optimize the structure of the cab,which improves the rationality of the modal distribution.Finally,the dynamic model of the cab-frame is established by using ADAMS software.According to the data of the road test provided by the enterprise,the FEMFAT software is used to process the data,and the virtual iterative technology is used to extract load spectrum of the cab.Through the analysis of the unit load stress response of the cab structure,combined with the load spectrum and the material characteristic curve,the fatigue life analysis of the cab structure is carried out by using the nCode software,and the fatigue life nephogram of the cab is obtained.The analysis results show that the cab structure satisfies the fatigue life design requirement.
