Research On Odor Control Technology Of Passenger Vehicle

The car has become an important transport for people to travel,the cars per 100 households have amounted to 39.8 vehicles,with the improvement of living standards and the attention of human health,people pay attention the basic performance of the car,just like driving performance,comfort and so on,but also pay attention to the vehicle indoor air quality and olfactory perception.In 2015 and 2016,the survey results of the quality of the new car by J.D.Power show that the vehicle indoor peculiar smell has become the most important issue of customer,so improving the vehicle indoor odor is very important.For the protection of human health,Environmental Protection Department(EPD)released GB/T 27630-2011 “Guideline for Air Quality Assessment of Passenger Car” that put eight hazardous substances which contain benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene,xylene,styrene,formaldehyde,acetaldehyde,and acrole in in control,and corresponding limiting concentration for the VIAQ of M1 vehicle.The vehicle indoor peculiar smell that the guests complain is produced by not only the eight hazardous substances,but also other sporadic substance,just like amines,acid s,esters and so on,so it is very difficult to control.The analyses of this topic are content of the influence factors of odor,standard system,control scheme and so on,to study the improved technology of the vehicle indoor odor.Based on the vehicle interior material and sporadic material,the paper have carried on the analysis to the principle of the odor emitting substance,the air quality index(AQI)correction,realize vehicle olfaction and AQI in the six level hierarchical simulation match;to achieve the vehicle odor work and NAM process development match,The establishment of material,component assembly,vehicle three levels of odor subjective evaluation method and limit requirements is finished,we also bring the vehicle odor work into the vehic le development process;finally this topic combined with material,parts assembly,vehicle smell improve instance,realize the material such as PP,ABS,PVC leather smell levels reached 3.5 or 4,door panel assembly,instrument panel assembly reached 3.5 magnitude,eventually make the whole car smell up to 3.5 on the Richter scale,we have achieved the upper reaches of the industry level,and the application of negative ions and other active purification technology to further improve vehicle odor.
